About the team
Established in 1907, the St. James Tennis Club is a community-based tennis club located in the heart of the Glebe, Ottawa. Our 500 plus members are young, old and in-between, and enjoy combining tennis with a relaxed and sociable club atmosphere.
St. James has 4 hard courts, a clubhouse, and lights for nighttime play. We offer a range of activities for players of all levels, including individual and group lessons, competitive leagues, club tournaments, and round robins. The social aspect of tennis is a big part of St. James, and there are a number of special events throughout the season. We also have a strong emphasis on tennis for families and children, including free activities for junior members and a range of lessons and tennis camps. Our enthusiastic and experienced coaches run one of the largest Progressive Tennis junior programs in the region.
